Recognised Courses
The Radiological Council recognises a number of courses as meeting the training prerequisite for specific categories of licence in Western Australia. The list is not exhaustive; some recognised courses may not be listed.
The course providers which are listed without contact details are for recognised courses which are either run privately or are no longer available.
Many fluoroscopy courses are specific to an area of speciality, and so not all courses will be applicable to all professions.

| Industrial Radiography Assistants |
Industrial Radiography Assistants DO NOT require licences and are not required to attend a course. They are issued a certificate of approval once the following eligibility is satisfied, at which point they may only work under the direction and immediate personal supervision of a licensed industrial radiographer –

Except for the Dentsply course, most Laser Safety courses are recognised for any laser licence, however it is strongly recommended that you attend a course specific to your intended use when one is available.
All courses approved by Queensland Health for laser safety are recognised by the Radiological Council
